Oh wow.
HexChat is still, in my opinion, the best graphical IRC client. It’s the only graphical IRC client I use (I also use rcirc in Emacs sometimes).
With the nature of IRC, I imagine it will keep working for some time, at least.

While this looked interesting on a first glance, it is only useful between users on the same server.
“The name is a recursive acronym: “Tinmop Is Not Mutt or Pine”. The older of us can remember that, in turn, Pine is sometimes considered an acronym as well: “Pine Is Not Elm” and, finally, Elm means (according to Wikipedia): “Electronic Mail”.” :)
